Penn State at Minnesota

It has been a slow maturation process for Penn State QB Robert Bolden. Through six games, he has thrown just four TD passes to seven interceptions. The lack of a consistent passing attack has affected the running of Evan Royster as well. Royster went for 2,400 yards the last two years combined but has just 388 this year. The result is a Penn State team that has scored 13 or less points in three of five of their games vs. FBS competition. The Gophers may not be an accomplished team either, but they have proven that they can score, producing 23+ in all but one game on the season. That is important because Penn St. is 0-16 ATS the last 16 times they have given up 20+ points. This is an awfully big number for a team with limited offense, and not a single road win for the season. The Golden Gophers have gone 26-12-1 ATS after failing to reach 20 points in their last game. I like Minnesota to cover this one.
