Oregon State at Stanford

Stanford is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. The Cardinal can struggle at times against balanced, explosive offenses. Oregon State is in town with a one-dimensional offense, ranked #103 in the nation in rushing. And this Oregon State offense isn't as dynamic as last season's because star WR Brandin Cooks went to the NFL. That's why QB Sean Mannion's numbers (7 TDs, 5 INTs) aren't anywhere near as good as a year ago. They come off a double OT loss to Utah at home and got smoked by #18 USC (35-10). Stanford is 6-2 ATS at home and ranked second in the nation in points allowed (12.2 ppg). Stanford won't be in a good mood after losing 26-10 at Arizona State and the Cardinal is 5-0 ATS when following a straight-up loss. The Cardinal is 25-12-1 ATS in PAC-12 games, which included a win over a much better Oregon State offense last season, holding them to just 12 points. Take Stanford.
