Oregon vs. California

The Oregon Ducks are still a very high-octane team, but they just don't seem to have the same capability on either side of the ball as they have in their recent past. They have yet to get to 50 points against an FBS opponent and the defense has been a step behind for the most part as all four of their power-conference opponents have gotten to 20 points or more. Cal is certainly not a strong defensive team, but they have shown the ability to put points on the board, and with a somewhat pedestrian Ducks' defense, they should get enough here to hang inside a lofty number. The Ducks are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight conference games, and no longer seem to have the capacity to cover big numbers. Cal has the ability to hang tough, and at the very least get the back door cover in this one. Take the points on California.
