Oregon at Arizona State

How scary has Oregon been to open the season? I'm not sure if I’ve ever saw this before, but they lead all NCAAF teams in yards per game and fewest yards allowed. The Ducks are putting up 612 yards per game while allowing just 193. Yes, they had a few cupcakes, but they also played at Tennessee, which is never easy, destroying the Vols 48-13. They have six RBs with 10 attempts or more, and six have scored a TD. They also have 16 different players having caught a pass, and six have scored a TD. Overall, 10 different players have scored a TD and that kind of balance is nearly never seen in the college ranks. If you subtracted Oregon’s defensive yards allowed from their offense, what is left would rank No. 38 in the country! Arizona State lost a heartbreaker in their only meaningful game at Wisconsin when the game-tying extra point was missed with four minutes left in a 20-19 loss. The Ducks stand at 20-7 ATS after holding their last opponent to under 20 points and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 overall. The Sun Devils are far from a model of consistency as they are 2-9 ATS following an ATS win. Arizona State is just 16-30 ATS in their last 46 vs. grea teams (opponents at .750 or better). They are also 0-6 ATS under Dennis Erickson vs. teams that score 37+ per game. The Sun Devils are faced with a monumental task here and I like Oregon to roll.
