Oregon is off to a 6-0 start and are ranked No. 3 in the first BCS poll of the season, behind only Alabama and Florida. The Ducks are coming off a bye and this will be a stiff test for a team that is good, but really has yet to be tested. We will find out if they deserve the No. 3 ranking after this one. Arizona State brings a solid resume and the No. 8 ranked defense into this contest. While the Ducks haven't faced a defense nearly this strong, the Sun Devils haven't faced such a speedy, competent offense either. Whoever wins that battle is likely getting the win here. Last year ASU held Oregon to their second-lowest home point total of the season. They actually led into the third quarter before bowing by 14 on the road. This year’s version is a more capable Sun Devils defense. The game this time is on home turf, so I expect the Sun Devils to give them a battle. The Sun Devils have failed to cover just six of their last 24 conference games and Tod Graham is 22-9 ATS as an underdog in all games he has coached (including 12-2 ATS at home). Take the home dog getting more than a TD in a game they just might win!
