Old Dominion at Coastal Carolina

Old Dominion got their first win of the season last week in impressive fashion, as they beat Bowling Green 30-27 on the road as an 11.5-point dog. They travel again this week to play at Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers opened the season at 3-0, but were beaten bad last week at home vs. Virginia. This team lost their best QB, and many of their good players after a four-year run that saw them go 39-12. This is not a good spot for Coastal Carolina as a team that starts the season at 3-0 and losses and now playing as a home favorite fail to cover over 55% of the time. These teams may not be even in terms of their records entering this game, but Coastal Carolina is getting the benefit of having gone 39-12 the last four years, and this team is not that caliber. I think this is a toss up game, and history is not on the side of the Chanticleers. Make the play on Old Dominion.
