Old Dominion at Appalachian State

It has been a down season for Appalachian St. at 5-5. This is a team that has won nine or more games each of the last seven seasons. They have covered just two games all season vs FBS opponents. They have two wins against FCS opponents and on the season they have just one win against an FBS opponent by more than four points. Old Dominion is also just 3-7 on the season, but the Monarchs have wins over Coastal Carolina and Virginia Tech. They have lost just two games by more than 14 points on the season and those were against James Madison and East Carolina.
