Oklahoma vs. Texas

Texas appeared to have things headed in the right direction, with newly inserted QB Jerrod Heard. Heard has had some ups and downs, but the talent is there, and after a bad game vs. TCU last week, the Texas offense should offer more with him under center going forward. As usual, Oklahoma has put out yet another top 10 team, but this one is different, and records are not quite so meaningful. Oklahoma won last year by just five as a -16.5 point favorite, and the Horns shocked them two years ago as a +12.5 point dog, winning easily by 16, marking the third time the Horns have won the game outright as a double-digit dog. This game has been full of surprises over the years, and having Texas coming in off a 50-7 drubbing last week has pushed the line in favor of the dog, who has been known to defy logic in this game.
