Ohio State at Rutgers

As good as Ohio State's offense has been, the defense has been mostly awful. They were favored by two TDs against Minnesota and Oregon and gave up 31 and 35 points. Also, the offense has a shoulder injury to QB C.J. Stroud, so freshman backup QB Kyle McCord started last week. The Buckeyes are 1-6 ATS versus winning teams and 3-7 ATS after scoring 40+ points in the last game. They're a big favorite again, but Rutgers is a terrific defensive team, seventh in the nation in scoring defense (13.5 points per game) and #11 in total 'D' (262.8 yards allowed per contest). Rutgers was a 20-point underdog last week at No. 14 Michigan, and they lost a close one, 20-13. Michigan entered the game averaging 350 yards rushing and was held to 112 yards (2.9 yards per carry).
