Ohio State at Oregon

Ohio State bounced back in a big way after a dismal showing against Michigan, and the Buckeyes trounced Tennessee 42-17 in the first round of the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes suddenly appear to be trying to redeem themselves and possibly save coach Ryan Day's job. They outgained the Volunteers 473-256, and QB Will Howard completed 24 of 29 for 311 yards and two TDs with one pick. Tennessee was held to 104 passing yards while playing catch-up the whole game. Oregon is the #1 team in the country. Still, it has the monumental task of defeating Ohio State twice in the same season after eking out a 32-31 home win on Oct. 12. The Ducks outlasted Penn State while being outgained 518-466 in the Big Ten championship game. Dillon Gabriel threw for 283 yards with four TD passes for Oregon. That performance inflated the posted total for this game, even though the Buckeyes have stayed UNDER five of their past seven games while allowing only 11.7 points per game. Oregon will run the ball a lot with Jordan James in the backfield. Oregon has gone UNDER eight of its past 12 January games. Take Ohio State and the UNDER.
