Ohio at UL Lafayette

UL Lafayette bounced back from a loss at Texas to defeat Nicholls, 27-24, for its eighth win in its past nine games, and the Ragin' Cajuns are 22-5 straight up since 2019. It was closer than expected, but quarterback Levi Lewis threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns, and the Cajuns added 113 yards on the ground. Ohio is 0-2 after playing only three games in 2020 due to COVID, and it lost to FCS Duquesne last week. The 16 returning starters obviously didn't add much experience last season, although De'Montre Tuggle returned the opening kickoff for 83 yards and scored two TDs and was the bright spot in an otherwise embarrassing performance by the Bobcats, who were 28.5-point favorites. Now Ohio goes on the road, and they are 0-5 ATS its past four non-conference games and 1-7 ATS following a loss. These teams last met in 2019, and Ohio lost by 20 points at home.
