Ohio at Syracuse

The last meeting was in 2021 and Syracuse won 29-9 and it went UNDER by 17.5 points. The Orange ended the 2023 season getting shut out 45-0 against South Florida in the Boca Raton Bowl. They parted ways with coach Dino Babers after eight unsuccessful years and hired Georgia assistant Fran Brown, who then landed transfer quarterback Kyle McCord from Ohio State. Syracuse will have a new-look offense with McCord at the helm and it could take a couple games for things to jell. The Orange averaged 24 points and allowed 25 in 2023. Ohio surrendered only 16 points per game last season while scoring 24 per game. The Bobcats lost 21 players from last year's squad, but added 17 transfers.
