Ohio University has won eight games in each of the last two years and returns 14 starters, including eight on offense and it showed last week as the Bobcats trounced FCS Hampton 59-0. Nathan Rourke ran for three touchdowns and the Bobcats racked up 420 total yards of offense and eight touchdowns overall. The defense held Hampton to just 108 total yards and 1.9 average yards per play. Ohio has covered eight of its last nine road games and it is 5-1 ATS it's last six against Big 10 teams. Also, the Bobcats have gotten off to good starts as they have covered the number nine of their last 11 September contests. Meanwhile, Purdue has a new coach in Jeff Brohm, but they are just 2-8 ATS their last 10 home games and 7-15 ATS versus Mid-American Conference teams. The Boilermakers did cover against Louisville last week, but they still allowed the Cardinals to pile up 524 total offense yards and they were helped by three lost fumbles by Louisville. Purdue managed only 2.4 yards per carry on the ground and Elijah Sindelar and David Blough split time at quarterback combining for 33-of-57 with three interceptions. Since Purdue is just a small favorite, so look for the outright upset and play Ohio on the moneyline.
