After dropping their opener 7-49 to Louisville, Ohio has reeled off three straight wins. Akron has been going the opposite direction. After starting the season 1-1, the Zips have lsot three straight. But, let's look a bit closer at those losses. One of them if you recall was a 24-28 loss to Michigan in the Big House. A tipped ball in the end zone at the end of that game kept Akron from winning outright as a 35-point underdog. After that, they covered a touchdown spread vs. LA Lafayette and then lost at Bowling Green as a two-touchdown underdog. Akron has the chops to hang in this game, if not win it. Ohio is just 1-9 ATS the past three seasons after a game in which they scored 37+ points. Take Akron with the points.
