Notre Dame at USC

I don't think either of these teams would have said they would be satisfied coming into this game at 7-4, back at the beginning of the season. That is the reality that they now face. This is a huge rivalry game for both, so some of the best should surface on both sides. There is a lot of offense expected in this game with the total posted well over 60, but that certainly hasn't been how these teams have played each other over the years. Since the 1987 season, these teams have met every year, and just one game has seen more than 61 points. There have been some Hesiman trophy talent on the field and many skilled NFL players, but they get after each other and quite frequently it is the defenses that make a mark - not the offense. The last seven meetings have seen six fail to get to the total, and things simply haven't changed that significantly. This one stays UNDER.
