Notre Dame at Temple

This is possibly the biggest game in Temple's football history as the Owls (7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS) face Notre Dame (6-1 SU, 6-1 ATS).  The Fighting Irish showed some cracks in its defense as USC racked up 590 total yards in a 41-31 loss at Notre Dame two weeks ago. DeShone Kizer has filled-in nicely, completing 65 percent of his passes and C.J. Prosise is averaging 131.7 yards per game. However, the Temple defense only allows 14.6 points per game while holding opponents to 2.9 yards per carry. Jahad Thomas is averaging 117 yards per game and P.J. Walker has completed 60 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Temple is 8-3 ATS against teams with winning records, dating to last season. Coach Matt Ruhle would like to avenge a 28-6 loss to Notre Dame in his coaching debut at Temple in 2013. Notre Dame has had a week off, however, while Temple has had an extra three days more than usual to prepare after beating East Carolina on a Thursday night.
