Notre Dame at Stanford

Since 1992, the Fighting Irish are 8-3 ATS in this matchup including 4-1 at Stanford. And, this team is leaps and bounds above the Irish teams of the recent past. Stanford was spanked in the Big Game vs. Cal last week 23-3. They don't have any confidence going into this one and while they need a win for a bowl, they know it isn't coming in this one. Charlie Weis is too goo a coach to allow his team to let down with a BCS bowl berth on the line. Notre Dame has gotten stronger as the season has worn on. Over their past three games, they are beating opponents by an average score of 39-17. The Irish are perfect SU and ATS on the road this season. Stanford can't run the ball and that will cause major problems for them on Saturday night. Notre Dame fans will be at this game and might outnumber Cardinals fans. Take the MUCH better team here and lay the points for one star.
