Notre Dame at Pittsburgh

It has become quite evident that this Notre Dame team pales in contrast to the powerhouse they had a year ago. They escaped their last game at home by the skin of their teeth vs. an average Navy team. Pittsburgh almost came away with what would have been the most important upset of last season, as they went to South Bend and blew a 20-6 lead in the fourth quarter before losing by 3 in overtime. I think that loss hurt, and it would not surprise me to see the Panthers come out breathing fire only to finish the job this time around. The Irish have fallen back hard after rushing for over 200 yards in their previous game by following with a 4-12 ATS mark in their last 16. Pitt is coming back hungry after a loss at 20-7 ATS in their last 27, and the dog is 7-0-1 ATS in the last eight in this series. Play on Pitt.
