The numbers say 7-2 for Northwestern, which means they will be playing in a Bowl game. The schedule points to a lot of reasons why that 7-2 isn't as impressive as it appears. The best the Wildcats have done all season is beat a 5-4 team, so they have been in a situation all season where they were either the better team or at least close to their opponent. They have come up short in the few good team they have faced. They get another one good opponent in 6-3 Michigan in this contest. The Wolverines have three losses with two of those were vs. unbeaten teams in Notre Dame and Alabama. The Wildcats had all kinds of problems defending Denard Robinson at home a year ago as he threw for over 300 yards and ran for over 100 more. I don't see anything about this Northwestern team that will change that, especially on the road. Michigan has won 12 straight in the Big House and I look for that to go to 13 with a convincing win here. Play on Michigan.
