Northwestern at Iowa

Iowa is a very misleading 5-2 on the season. They have an 8-point win vs. Northern Iowa at home, a 4-point win to a poor Ball State team at home, and a 3-point loss to Iowa State at home. The three conference wins came vs. teams that are a combined 3-8 in conference play - and the team with two of those three conference wins beat them. I think that they will start to show their true colors this week. In the meantime, now is the time they will appear to be as good as they will all season with Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska yet to come, and don't sell Northwestern short. The Wildcats have had a much tougher schedule, and own wins vs. Penn State on the road, and Wisconsin at home, and certainly bring enough to the table here to come away with an outright win. A sure sign of trouble for Iowa is allowing 200+ rushing yards as they have followed by going 2-8 ATS in their last 10. Northwestern got them to OT last season, despite a negative turnover margin and out-gaining the Hawkeyes. This year they get over the top, so play on Northwestern.
