Northern Illinois at Kent State

Northern Illinois can still finish with a 6-6 record and a possible bowl berth with a win, and the Huskies should have no trouble against Kent State, which is 1-10 and 2-8-1 ATS. The Golden Flashes' only win was against an FCS school, Central Connecticut State, and they since have lost eight in a row (0-7-1 ATS), including 34-3 to Ball State last week. Meanwhile, Northern Illinois is coming off one of its best performances of the year shutting out Western Michigan 24-0 and allowing only 24 yards rushing on 18 carries by the Broncos. The Huskies racked up 287 yards on the ground on 5.7 yards per carry again. Kent State is 0-6-1 ATS following a loss of more than 20 points and they have no apparent motivation in this game as opposed to the Huskies' accomplishing at least a .500 season. The Golden Flashes yielded 300 rushing yards against Ball State and totaled only 97 total yards of offense themselves. Lay the points with Northern Illinois.
