New Mexico State at UTEP

Don't look now but New Mexico State is 2-0. Yes, a couple of cupcake wins, but when you have been the ultimate cupcake for so long, change is blowing in the air. The Aggies have won a total of 15 games over the last five seasons, and have not won more than four games in nearly a decade, so 2-0 stands big for this team. They now take on a team they feel they can compete with, and why not, as New Mexico, another team that has had problems in recent years, came within 7 of the Miners in a 31-24 loss, and were tied with just two and a half minutes to play, and out-gained UTEP in the contest. A fired up, and now confident New Mexico State team feels that they can compete here, and I agree. The Miners haven't exhibited confidence as they are 8-23 ATS in their last 31, and the road team has gotten the money in five of the last six in this series. This one closer than it looks, so play on New Mexico State.
