New Mexico at Wyoming

Wyoming shouldn't be laying this many points to anyone, including New Mexico as the Cowboys have lost their last two games to Air Force and Fresno State while scoring a total of 14 points and that was after they barely beat then-winless Connecticut 24-22 as a 31.5-point favorite. Wyoming quarterback Sean Chambers completed only eight passes in 23 attempts against Fresno State while throwing three interceptions. New Mexico won last year's meeting 17-16 as a 14.5-point underdog and the Lobos are 6-2 ATS the past eight meetings. Wyoming is 1-4-1 ATS its last six games overall and 2-7 ATS after losing by at least 10 points at home. Also, the Cowboys are 4-9-1 ATS after scoring fewer than 20 points their previous game. Former San Diego State head coach, Rocky Long, is the Lobos' defensive coordinator and his defense was the main factor in New Mexico's win last year.
