Darrell Hazell just can't seem to get enough talent at Purdue and after beating Eastern Kentucky, an FCS school, his team lost 38-20 at home to Cincinnati. It was the first time that Cincy had won a road game against a Big Ten opponent since 1957. The Boilermakers ran up a lot of yardage, but were stymied by quarterback David Blough's five interceptions and they finished with only 103 yards on the ground. Markell Jones was the leading rusher with only 47 yards on 15 carries and he is questionable this week with a shoulder injury. Purdue was off last week, but that's not necessarily good news as it is 1-5-1 ATS when following a bye week. Also, the Boilermakers have not covered the spread in 20 of their last 28 home games. Nevada comes in off a 38-14 home win over Buffalo in a game that went OVER by fewer than three points, but the Wolf Pack has gone UNDER in six of its last seven road games. Nevada rushed for 352 yards against the Bulls and will likely run the ball as much as possible against the Boilermakers, who are last in the Big Ten in run defense. Nevada QB Tyler Stewart had an efficient day completing 16 of 21 for 160 yards and a touchdown against Buffalo. James Butler rushed for 174 yards on 28 carries and scored three TDs. Purdue has not been favored against an FBS school since 2014 and the combination of Blough's carelessness and Nevada running the ball makes the play on Nevada and the UNDER.
