This is not the typical Bowl setting these teams have grown accustomed to playing in over their storied history, but the opponent in each case should be enough to get the blood going on both sides, and a hard played game is quite likely. The Trojans are 8-4 on the season and have been highly inconsistent. They struggle to score, or they score big. They throw up a defensive gem, or they get punished by the opposing offense. Nebraska lost three times to teams that were collectively 28-9, and two of the losses were by five points or less, so basically the Cornhuskers have played the entire season, outside of 1 game inside of five points. The line here is surely over-representing USC, which has a big following, but Nebraska is far from a pushover. And anytime you have a back that runs for 6.4 yards a carry and 18 TD's and over 1500 yards, you have a potential game changer, and I like their chances here. The Cornhuskers are 6-0 ATS in their last six on grass, and the Trojans inconsistencies as mentioned above have left them at 1-5 ATS in their last six following a win. This one should be coser than it looks so make the play on Nebraska.
