Nebraska vs. UCLA

FOSTER FARMS BOWL: It appeared that when Nebraska's upset attempt in their last game of the season came up seven points short against then unbeaten Iowa, there would be no Bowl for this team. The glut of Bowls, and lack of 6-6 teams, opened the door for the Huskers, and at 5-7 will take on the UCLA Bruins in the Foster Farms Bowl. The UCLA offense really struggled down the stretch. After scoring 30 points or more seven times in their first nine games, the Bruins managed just 21.7 points per game in their last three, but never topped the 27-point mark. They went on to finish the season at 8-3-1 to the UNDER, including each of their last four games. Nebraska seemed to save their best defense for the last two games, allowing 21 ppg with both games playing UNDER. UCLA comes in at 35-15-1 to the UNDER in their last 51 when following a loss, and Nebraska is 9-3 to the UNDER in their last 12 at a neutral site. Play the UNDER in this one.
