Bob Diaco made his name at Notre Dame as the best defensive coordinator in the country, but when he took over the head coaching job at UConn, he had other responsibilities. He is back in his comfort zone as the new DC at Nebraska. After a few bumps early, the Huskers have been playing some pretty good defense, holding their last two opponents to a combined 38 points. It has been 15 years and the Illini have finished the regular season with a better than .500 record just one time.
