Nebraska at Colorado

Since Dion Sanders was hired at Colorado to take over a team that was 1-10 a year ago, the hype in Boulder may be at a record high. Sanders backed up his words with a stunning opening season road win at TCU. The offense looked unstoppable, but the defense has a long way to go. Colorado had a lot of breaks having intercepted two passes in the end-zone, and as good as the offense is, something else happened. There is now film on Colorado, and that preparation is going to slow down the Colorado attack, while the defense is there to be exposed. I also think that after all the lead-up to that game, and the depth of emotion on the field is going to have Colorado playing a bit cocky, as well as finding it hard to overcome all the emotions from last week. Nebraska held Minnesota to 251 total yards last week and lost. The biggest factor in the loss was Nebraska turned the ball over four times. That speaks highly of the defense, and going against an ultra-soft Colorado defense isn't going to be easy. I like Nebraska on the moneyline.
