Navy at Tulsa

Navy came up just short in a 27-20 loss against undefeated Cincinnati, and the Midshipmen covered the spread for the fourth time in their last five games. They're getting double digits again against Tulsa, which is just 1-3 ATS its last four games, including a 32-31 win at South Florida as a 7.5-point favorite. Navy had beaten Tulsa five straight times until last year when the Golden Hurricane pulled out a 19-6 win and covered by a half-point. Navy has covered seven in a row against teams with losing records, and Tulsa is 4-11 ATS as a home favorite and 1-4 ATS versus teams with losing records dating to last season. Navy actually had a passing attack against the Bearcats, and that is unusual for the Midshipmen, who love to run the option. Tai Lavatai completed 11 of 15 for 116 yards, and Navy still rushed for 192 yards on 67 carries, including 80 on 19 carries by Isaac Ruoss. Tulsa is 3-4 and lost 19-17 to UC Davis, an FCS school, in its season opener. Take Navy.
