Navy at Notre Dame

The Naval Academy has had quite the run of good seasons but this year they are simply not there yet with a young team. They head to Notre Dame with a paltry 2-5 record. This was supposed to be the year that Notre Dame got back into the national spotlight, but once again they have disappointed and stand at only 4-3 for the season. Navy likes to run the ball with the option which chews up clock, and they have had a lot better success vs. non-BCS conference teams, as their two lowest scoring games this year came against Rutgers (20) and South Carolina (21). Notre Dame is obviously on the level with BCS conference teams so don't expect a ton of offensive success from Navy here. Notre Dame could be deflated here after a disappointing home loss to USC so don't expect a lot from them either. Navy is now 7-1 to the UNDER as a road dog in their last eight, while the Irish have turned in a 13-3 mark to the UNDER in their last 16 at home.
