Navy at Memphis

Four of the five games that these teams have played have gone UNDER the total and look for that to continue on Friday night. The Memphis defense has played especially well this season, allowing an average of only 13.3 points following its 42-6 win at South Alabama two weeks ago. The Jaguars were held to 248 total yards and 2.6 yards per carry. Meanwhile, the Tigers ran a time-consuming 45 times for 312 yards on 6.9 yards per carry. Kenny Gainwell rushed for 145 yards and Kylan Watkins added 113 yards on the ground. The Jaguars managed only 147 passing yards. Navy has barely stayed UNDER in both games after beating East Carolina 42-10 and the Midshipmen have allowed only 17 points in their first two games. As usual, almost all of the Navy offense came on the ground as it racked up 315 rushing yards on 64 carries led by Malcolm Perry with 151 yards. The last two meetings have gone UNDER, including Navy's 22-21 win over the Tigers last year. Navy is 7-3 UNDER its last 10 versus teams with winning records. Play the UNDER.
