The Missouri Tigers found SEC life not very friendly two weeks ago as they were burned by Georgia at home 41-20. They had another tough one at home last week vs. Arizona State, holding on for a 24-20 win, but failed to cover once again. It is becoming apparent that this offense is not nearly as explosive as what we saw over the last two years. South Carolina will only make it more difficult. The Gamecocks have allowed just 29 points so far and the defense is rock solid. Despite the limited competition, there is a lot of depth and experience on the field. Connor Shaw returns at QB, but the Gamecocks have found they have an equal replacement in Dylan Thompson, making South Carolina even more versatile on offense. Marcus Lattimore in the backfield only makes the offense harder to defend, as the Gamecocks can move the ball in the air or on the ground. Missouri has struggled against good teams at home. Their problems will magnify here on the road, where SC is 4-0 ATS in their last four. And, Steve Spurrier is 82-58 ATS lifetime in conference games. Play on South Carolina.
