ARMED FORCES BOWL - Mississippi State is 3-7 and still made it to a bowl game thanks to the strength of the SEC and the lack of available teams due to the pandemic. The Bulldogs do come off an impressive, 51-32 victory against Missouri and are led by quarterback Will Rogers, who set MSU freshman-record marks with 1,828 passing yards and 220 completions. Wide receiver Jaden Walley set a school freshman record with 691 receiving yards, and Jo'quavious Marks caught 56 passes, the most in MSU history for a running back. All of these statistics reflect coach Mike Leach's pass-happy offense, but the defense has been decent allowing 380.3 total yards per game for #47 in the country while allowing 28.3 points, and that is against SEC competition. The Golden Hurricane might not be too motivated after barely losing the AAC championship game in the final seconds to Cincinnati. Take Mississippi State.
