Mississippi State at Arkansas

A promising 3-0 start by the Arkansas Razorbacks soon turned into a nightmare. The Razorbacks are winless in their last seven games and are certain to miss going Bowling. The problems run deep on both sides of the ball as Arkansas has been outscored 276-115 in the seven games, and it sure looks like this team has packed it in. Mississippi State is a good 4-6 team, and with a win here, and another next week in the Egg Bowl vs. in-state rival Ole Miss, and they will be in a Bowl game. Their defense showed some teeth as they held No. 1 Alabama to a season low 20 points last week. When you look at their six losses, they have been all to elite teams in Alabama, Texas A&M, South Carolina, LSU, Auburn, and Oklahoma State. The losses have been to teams with a combined 52-9 record on the season, and Arkansas is not even near that caliber opponent. Take Mississippi State.
