Minnesota at Penn State

Penn St. took to the road last week with a huge game vs Michigan, as both entered the contest unbeaten. The Nittany Lions ate some humble pie as they were beaten soundly by the Wolverines 41-17. Life in the Big 10 is never easy and now Penn St. will take on Minnesota at home. Penn St. has played a soft schedule so far and failed miserably against a very good Michigan team, and they have yet to prove how good they are. Minnesota saw its elite running game slow vs Purdue and Illinois. Penn St. came into Michigan last week with what was thought of as one of the best running attacks in the country as well as one of the best-run stop units. Penn St. promptly gave up 418 yards on the ground and generated just 112 of their own. Minnesota has gone for 240 or more yards rushing four times, and allowed 38 yards or fewer three times. I think Minnesota is the better-tested team and will ride the Gophers in this one.
