Minnesota at Illinois

Minnesota had a pretty good season last year, and is off to a good start this season. The Golden Gophers are 6-1, but they have had a couple of barn-burners in their last two. They needed a 100-yard kickoff return late vs. Northwestern to win by 7, and last week survived Purdue by a single point. Illinois is certainly capable of giving them a game, as their margin for error seems to be razor thin. Their schedule has been less than challenging, but the recent results sure have shown otherwise. Illinois held their own on the road vs. another struggling team in Wisconsin, and they have been better at home where they are 3-1 on the season. This one could very well follow suit for Minnesota on the road, with the game possibly coming down to the last possession, so the points look big here. Take the points on Illinois.
