Middle Tennessee State at Western Kentucky

You'll have to forgive Middle Tennessee State for its poor start. The schedule has been brutal, including facing the SEC twice (Alabama, Missouri) - both on the road. They lost just 23-19 at Missouri as a +21 underdog. The Blue Raiders started slowly last year, too, but finished strong, including a 25-23 victory over San Diego State in the Hawaii Bowl as a +7 dog. There's plenty of returning talent on both sides of the line. QB Nicholas Vattiato (7 TDs, 2 INTs) has played well despite the tough competition. Middle Tennessee State is 75-60 ATS when working with six or fewer days of rest. Western Kentucky comes home from a tough two-game road trip losing at Ohio State (63-10) and at Troy (27-24).
