Middle Tennessee State at Southern Miss

How the mighty have fallen. Southern Miss was once a Bowl-game staple come the NCAA Football postseason, but what has happened to this program over just two short years is almost disgraceful. They have gone from one of the top mid-major programs to the least desirable. After winning their Bowl game vs. Nevada three seasons ago, the Golden Eagles have been anything but golden at 0-22 straight-up. Last season they lost six games by 20 points or more, and it looked like the only way was up. That has been proven wrong as through 10 games, they have lost eight of them by 21 or more, and seven by 23 or more. Middle Tennessee at 6-4, is certainly of the ilk to make that eight. The Golden Eagles are 5-20-2 ATS in their last 27, and no points seem to be enough for this team right now. Play on Middle Tennessee State.
