Middle Tennessee has rebounded from a blowout loss to James Madison in its season opener to win its next two games against Colorado State and FCS Tennessee State. The Blue Raiders scored on six consecutive drives against the Tigers and won 49-6 last week and QB Chase Cunningham finished 20 of 24 for 217 yards and two touchdowns and Frank Peasant gained 122 yards on the ground. The Blue Raiders return their entire defensive line from last season and Tennessee State was held to 210 total yards. Obviously, Miami will be a much tougher opponent, but the Hurricanes didn't show much while losing 17-9 to Texas A&M while managing only three field goals. The Hurricanes have problems at wide receiver with Xavier Restrepo injured and now Jacolby George is doubtful with a thumb injury. QB Tyler Van Dyke was only 21 of 41 for 217 yards and TDs against the Aggies. MTSU has covered four of its past five non-conference games and the Hurricanes are 4-9 ATS their past 13 home games and 3-9 ATS overall in non-conference games. The Blue Raiders have gone UNDER four of their past six games and Miami's last two games have stayed UNDER by an average of 16.5 points. MTSU has gone UNDER four straight after scoring at least 40 points its previous game. Take Middle Tennessee and the UNDER.
