Middle Tennessee State at Louisiana Tech

Two struggling programs meet in this one with Middle Tennessee (1-4) traveling to Louisiana Tech (1-3). The Blue Raiders did cover in a 24-7 loss at Memphis two weeks ago before having the week off, and QB Nicholas Vattiato had a decent game completing 21 of 31 for 283 yards with no inerceptions. However, he was sacked four times and the Blue Raiders couldn't get anything going on the ground. Middle Tennessee is 10-2 ATS off back-to-back losses against an under .500 opponent. Louisiana Tech is 4-11 ATS its past 15 games and the Bulldogs are averaging just 18.8 points this season while staying UNDER in three of them. They are 0-7 ATS their past seven games following a loss and they have lost six straight October games. The Bulldogs also had last week off after bowing 17-10 to Florida International on Sept. 28. QB Evan Bullock threw for 218 yards and no TDs and the running game produced only 79 yards on 2.7 per carry. The Blue Raiders went UNDER by 30 points against Memphis and it was their best defensive showing of the season. Take Middle Tennessee and the UNDER.
