Middle Tennessee got off to a brutal start this season losing 44-7 to James Madison, but the Blue Raiders still are in better shape than Colorado State, which lost 51-7 to Michigan for the Rams' seventh straight loss dating to last season. Jay Norvell is in his first year as coach of CSU and he has his work cut out as the Rams are 11-29 the past four seasons, including 3-9 last year. The Rams allowed 234 rushing yards against Michigan while managing only 82 yards on 39 carries themselves. Colorado State has allowed at least 50 points in each of its last three games dating to last season. The Blue Raiders had one of the youngest teams in the country in 2021 and so they have plenty of returning experience and they obviously underrated the Dukes, who are in their first year of being an FBS school. Middle Tennessee has covered 25 of 35 following a loss and six straight after giving up at least 40 points their previous game. Colorado State is 1-5 ATS its past six home games and the Rams are 0-7 ATS their last seven games. Take Middle Tennessee State - Max Play
