Emotion is such a huge part of college athletics and here you have a Michigan team that the whole country is piling on for their poor start and the coach being under fire. Michigan students and fans protested this week on campus against the AD. It's good that this game is out of town this week and the team has an us-against-the-world mentality. Having experienced and mobile QB Devin Gardner back under center will be a plus as well. This team is not devoid of talent, with the defense allowing just 22.2 points per game. The Wolverines are 10-2-1 ATS after accumulating fewer than 170 yards passing in their previous game. They take on a rebuilding Rutgers team that scored 10 points against Penn State and allowed Navy over 400 yards. The Scarlet Knights are 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and are stepping up into the Big 10 this season, making this a great spot for the angry and motivated dog. Play Michigan.
