Michigan at Notre Dame

Premium Pick

Notre Dame had a powerful offense a year ago, but they must replace some key pieces this season to have similar success. The pressure is on quarterback Brandon Wimbush, but he certainly delivered when needed the most as the Irish offense converted on 76% of their red-zone opportunities. The Irish have depth and experience in the front seven and should be a defensive force in 2018. Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh still remains somewhat of a mystery at Michigan. He has brought in exceptional talent, but is just 28-11 recently and 18-8 in conference play. His team seems to get the hype, but under-achieves. Last year's 8-5 mark has many wondering. It has actually gotten tougher to remain on the Harbaugh bandwagon as his talent seems to not live up to its billing, while Kelly seems to have gotten more out of his. Make the play on Notre Dame. Also take the UNDER. Michigan closed out last season with horrid offense, posting just 16.3 points per gaem over their last three gaems. The good news was their defense was stout, allowing 18.8 per game overall. Under Brian Kelly, the Irish are 58-44 to the UNDER including 12-4 UNDER as a home favorite of 7 points or fewer and 14-5 UNDER at home during September. Take the Irish and the UNDER.
