The Michigan offense was slowed the last two weeks, but they should find some room here against the pedestrian defense of Northwestern. It's hard to believe that the Wildcats are favored in this one as this is quite obviously not the same team that won the Big-10 last year. Northwestern started out at 4-0, but it seemed that the loss at home to Ohio State in a game they fought their tails off to win, has simply has left them empty as they have lost five straight games. The Wolverines have been doing a good job in finding their way back after a loss, as they have responded with a 10-4 ATS mark in their last 14 when following a setback. The Wildcats were covering everything in sight a year ago, but such is not the case this year as they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven. Brady Hoke-led teams are now 33-17 ATS following an ATS loss. Take Michigan in this one.
