The wheels have come off for Michigan State. They hosted Illinois last week and went from a 28-3 lead and a laugher to a 37-34 defeat. That runs the losing streak for the Spartans to four straight games. The once-proud defense has allowed 168 points in their last five games at 33 points per game. They have been completely overmatched by the elite conference teams in losing to Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin by a combined score of 100-17. Michigan has gotten its act together by winning five of its last six and covering five as well. What is worse for Michigan State is the injury list is expanding, and coming into this game, 15 different players made the report most notably WR Darrell Stewart Jr. Michigan rolls.
