Miami has bounced back after a season-opening loss to Miami Florida and won and covered six of the next seven games and the only loss was last week 21-17 against Toledo. Brett Gabbert threw for 179 yards and the Redhawks scored 14 unanswered second-half points but came up just short of defeating the Rockets. Ohio barely got by Western Michigan as a 16.5-point favorite and it may have been looking ahead to this game. Kurtis Rourke completed 24 of 39 for 275 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos, who totaled 369 yards of offense. Miami would like to avenge last season's 37-21 loss to the Bobcats and the Redhawks have won and covered their past four road games, including 31-24 as a 14-point underdog against Cincinnati on Sept. 16.
