Miami Ohio at Iowa

If there is one sure thing in college football, it is the fact that Iowa will have a strong defense. Since 1980, the Hawkeyes have allowed 20 points per game. The last three years were all better than that, led by last year's defense that allowed 17.8 points per game. When it comes to lining up vs. the MAC, they have allowed 12.8 points per game in 25 contests. Miami, Ohio averaged over 28 points per game, but what is very telling is they scored zero points vs. Cincinnati and just three against Minnesota in their only two contests vs. Power 5 schools. At the same time, the Red Hawks allowed just 23.5 points per game in those contests. Iowa is not a strong offensive team, and they are going to have to go for 40+ in this one to get this over the top, and I don't see it. Play on the UNDER.
