Miami Ohio at Boise State

The Boise State Broncos lost a lot of key parts from last year's team. A lot of people were writing them off before the start of this season and an opening day loss to ranked Michigan State seemed to solidify the opinion that this teams' best times are behind them. Not so fast. They covered the spread vs. a quality Big 12 program on the road, losing by just 4 points on the road. That's a better than expected performance. The reality is that this Broncos program has grown to the point that the gun is never out of bullets - it is just reloaded. The Broncos are 63-7 in their last 70 games, better than any team in the land. They have had to face mass departures before this season as well. They are 74-3 at home on the Smurf Turf, and one of those was a win over Miami Ohio in 2009 by the score of 48-0. Miami was blown out by Ohio State 56-10 in week one, and won a game vs. a non-FBS team in an unimpressive 30-17 verdict. The Broncos have had two weeks to prepare for this one, and are one of the best cover teams in the country (45-29 ATS overall under Chris Petersen including 20-0 ATS in non-conference games). Take the Broncos to win big here.
