Miami Florida at NC State

It's been a rough two-game stretch for Miami, getting run over at Clemson (42-17 loss) in their last road game before squeaking by Virginia (19-14) as a two-TD favorite. Miami has failed to cover seven straight games when they come off a home win against a conference rival. The defense is #52 in the nation in yards allowed (391 per game), #56 in rushing 'D' (150.8 pg). NC State is rested playing just its third home game, winning the first two. NC State plays a unique 3-3-5 defensive alignment that is a new wrinkle for the Hurricanes to deal with. The Wolfpack has a winning record overall, and in ACC play, despite playing its fourth game against a ranked opponent.
