Memphis at Navy

Memphis has had a strong start, powered by a terrific defense at #23 in the nation in points allowed (19.4 points per game). Memphis is 18-7 UNDER the total against a winning team, as well as 21-4-1 UNDER on the road versus a team with a winning home record. The Tigers lead the country defensively with 18 takeaways. They forced three turnovers Friday against Tulane, recovering two fumbles and adding an interception. They face a Navy offense that is all about running the football to control the clock, and is #13 in the country in rushing. The defense has played well, too, holding three of five opponents under 17 points.
